"I work from home and am based near Langtoft in the East Riding of Yorkshire. I am a ceramic sculptor with over forty years of experience, working primarily in stoneware. My work focuses on sculptural interpretations of horses, dogs, wildlife, and people, exploring movement, character, and quiet narrative through form and surface. I value the physical dialogue between hand, clay, and fire, allowing the material’s natural strength and texture to remain present in the finished piece. Each sculpture is built to balance structural integrity with expressive detail, reflecting a lifelong commitment to craftsmanship and observation of the natural world.
