Rosemary Abrahams

“I begin working with a plastered ground, which can then be incised for line work. I am intrigued by the way paint affects the surface which I then enhance with metals, varnishes, pearlescent and acrylics. I am inspired by dramatic, largely uninhabited landscapes, abstract constructions, and loose organic florals.”

Joanne Blacker

“Living in the countryside inspires me to paint rural scenes in watercolour or pastel. More recently painting more coastal pictures. I connect with farm animals and spaniels, of which I have done commissions. This has taken me to be a Judge at various shows each year.”

"I work mainly in watercolour and pastels, occasionally combining both. My main inspiration is nature, with landscape, the sea and animals featuring most. In landscape my aim is to represent the colours and textures. I often paint birds in a slightly illustrative style to show their array of colours."

“Interested in ceramics since school, I have collected studio pottery for most of my adult life. I am now an enthusiastic potter in my own right, producing individual hand-built and thrown stoneware pieces in a tiny home studio, combining simple forms with complex surfaces.”

Jun Cui

"My acrylic paintings express the beauty of nature and the complexity of human emotions through bold colours and pattern, inviting viewers to explore the intersection of imagination and reality."

Pamela Davies

"My sculpture is mainly figurative and explores what it means to be living at this time, in a world where money and status are often seen as more important than concern for others, the natural world and the planet."
