John has cultivated a lifelong passion for art for over fifty years and has evolved into a very talented artist. Born with a natural talent, he’s always had an ability to draw from an early age and has developed a distinctive artistic style grounded in both skill and sensitivity. Being creative from a young age is certainly an advantage in any subject, but as with all skills, they have to be nurtured and developed over many years to perfect.
John’s work spans marine, landscape, and portrait art, each infused with a deep appreciation for light, texture, and atmosphere. John's latest exhibits include The Hull Ferens Open, The Beverley Open, and two extended longlist achievements in the international Jackson Art Open.
