John Caley developed his skills working for many years as a freelance illustrator in Sweden. Eventually he was invited to teach art and illustration in the media department of a college there. Moving to the Isle of Man, he combined teaching at the Island’s college with his job in the design department at Manx National Heritage. In both countries he organised and held painting courses and workshops.
John has always loved painting, exhibiting his art regularly in Sweden and later in the Isle of Man. Now living in Yorkshire, John is making the most of his new environment and introducing it into his art work.
