“My paintings in oils are usually topographical, though are expressive through the use of colour. The aim is to find beauty in the everyday where I live. I try to convey scenes that the viewer is familiar with and hope to make those mundane places memorable. I love to paint detail and consider myself a Precisionist. Layering and glazing colours are given more priority than gestural marks. Commisions are welcome.”
