Bowls and vases thrown on the wheel from fine white porcelain using the clay’s natural translucency and appearance of delicacy. Decoration focuses on texture - thickly applied layers of slip create textural edges or thinned surfaces that are pierced with masses of ridged holes. A new collection of unique hand-built sculptures features multiple tapered forms in different sizes, joined together to create an organic structure. The sculptures encapsulate the feeling of being grounded and rooted and how that facilitates an upward surge of energy and growth.
