“I am still very much inspired by plants, but I have also been exploring a freer and more intuitive approach to my painting. This has produced two distinct styles of work that in themselves describe a process of transition; as an artist I am a ‘work in progress’. Underlying all my work is an enjoyment of colour, natural form and surprise, whether it is found in the garden or in the painting.”
