"I literally fell into painting by falling off a ladder! I taught myself to paint by using books from the library (no internet back then) and watching watercolour painting programmes on the TV. I fell in love with the amazing medium of watercolour. For me, it is and always will be the easiest and most exciting medium to work with. Easy because it does so much of the work for you and ‘exciting’ because, no matter how experienced you are, at some stage it will do its own thing. This often turns out to be the best part of the painting."
