"My creative journey began in an unexpected and life?changing way. In 2004, I became friends with Margaret Hockney, sister of David Hockney. Her warmth, encouragement, and belief in my potential gave me the confidence to explore my own artistic path. Margaret’s influence stayed with me, and although she sadly passed away last year, she is still an important part of my story. All my images begin with my own original photographs, sometimes transformed dramatically, sometimes subtly. I try to visualise the finished idea in my mind and guide it into being. It does not always go to plan, but the process is always joyful."
