Judith is an Artist Printmaker living in Bishop Wilton, a small village at the foot of the Wolds. Printmaking is the foundation of her creative practice and after exploring many different techniques she now focuses on collagraph and etching to produce unique prints onto paper. Her mixed media work draws on printmaking techniques and she often incorporates pieces of prints and plates into the finished artwork. Judith finds lots of inspiration from the landscape, both local and further afield, spending a lot of time out and about with camera and sketchbook.
"Exploring the impact of human activity on the landscape and natural environment is a big part of my creative life, and through my art I hope not only to celebrate the beauty of this world, but also to explore the challenges facing humanity as we learn a new respect for all of creation and find sustainable and regenerative ways of living."
