"My paintings are contemporary, impressionist, colourful and vibrant interpretations of gardens in motion. Self-taught, I use a kitchen spatula and pouring paint techniques to achieve an unusual textured effect. I paint from memories of gardens and am inspired by the influence of the wind on plant energy. I specialise in large scale, deep edged canvases (80cm x 100cm). People say that my paintings make them feel happy... hence 'happiness on 'canvas.'"
