Dave began his working career in the retail industry before establishing his own art gallery and picture framing business. He later joined the Fine Art Trade Guild, rising to the position of Master in 2004. Seeking a new direction, Dave retrained as an art tutor, teaching at Doncaster College before leading private community classes. In 2018, he was commissioned by Search Press to author a book on watercolour painting. His artwork is widely recognised for its exceptional realism and versatility, capturing a range of subjects with mastery across multiple mediums.
