The artists in this exhibition invite you to reflect on the ways in which the past leaves its traces in our present, creating an experience that spans time.
Through a variety of mixed media, artists explore the concept of “echoes” — the reverberations between past events, memories, emotions and sounds – capturing the lingering presence of something that spans the years, decades or centuries.
These concepts are achieved through:
- Mixed Media – Layered canvases with repeated motifs, translucent elements or fading imagery.
- Photography – Photos capturing reflections, shadows, or hints at past events.
- Text-based works – Poems, quotes or scribbled thoughts layered over abstract backgrounds.
- Interactive art – Allowing visitors to leave a piece of themselves behind, contributing to the echoes in the space.
