Palette knife art workshops with ERA artist Heather Burton.
“I am pleased to be able to send you dates for the summer season of palette knife art workshops based at my home/studio near Howden. These small, friendly groups are for anyone who would like to learn how to use palette knives for painting, from complete beginners to more seasoned enthusiasts, although there are a few additional options in the mix as you will see in the details!
“Spaces are limited to five per session so please book early to avoid disappointment. If the weather is good there is every chance that we shall paint in the garden, but the aim is for you to paint a subject of your choice so that you are inspired by the piece you are working on. It can be figurative, landscape, seascape or still life. You will need to bring your own largish canvases, flat palettes and basic acrylic paints. Easels, knives, back-up paints and cleaning rags are supplied.”
The workshops start at 10am and finish at 3:30pm and include a relaxed two course, home cooked lunch.
